You
may ask, "What is a Cristallisees?" A Cristallisees
is an actual flower, petal, or leaf that has been incased
in crystalized sugar. Making these wonderful creations is
a very labor-intensive process, all done by hand. Can you
imagine, each item has to be gently created one at a time!
The
Cristallisees may be used to decorate cakes, petit fours,
cookies, or served as shown above, with coffee or your favorite
tea. I love to make a Champagne Cocktail with the
Violette Sirop and finish it off with a Violette Cristalisees
placed in the champagne flute. Lovely! |
